CASTAWAY BAY BY CEDAR POINT RESORTS, Sandusky – Your ideal downtown stay

Although the room was not as clean as expected with some dirty cups left behind, it was still cozy enough. The hotel's location is convenient for visiting Cedar Point and other nearby attractions, but lacks privacy. The dining experience had a limited selection, and the prices were not very competitive.

I found my stay at the hotel to have its ups and downs. The rooms were cozy and clean, but on the smaller side for the price. The staff was really friendly, which was a big plus. However, the room had a bit of a worn-out feel with an annoying scent. The balcony was a nice touch, but the sliding door was difficult to handle and quite noisy. Unfortunately, the neighbors were loud all night. The hotel offered some great amenities, like a screened-in porch, but some were out of order like the slides and spa. Overall, a mixed experience that had its bright spots and some disappointments.
